Miami, FL – Applied Research Laboratories (ARL) has received Accreditation to ISO/IEC Guide 65, General Requirements for Bodies Operating Product Certification Systems, as a Product Certification Agency through International Accreditation Service (IAS).
As a nonprofit, public-benefit corporation providing accreditation services since 1975, IAS accredited certification agencies are upheld to the highest standards in the market place and by regulators. ARL’s PCA accreditation certifies their product certification process (which includes testing, evaluation, product surveillance and product labeling) has been properly evaluated and continues to be actively monitored by an internationally recognized accreditation agency.
In order to achieve accreditation, ARL was subject to a thorough review of their Quality Management System and technical documents in addition to an extensive on-site assessment including test and evaluation demonstrations, record reviews and personnel interviews. IAS rewarded ARL with Product Certification Accreditation on May 17, 2012.
